Educational Qualification

To apply you need to have a Bachelors Degree in any subject from a university in India that is recognized.

If you are, in your year of graduation you can still apply for the Prelims exam. But you will need to show proof that you have passed before you can take the Mains exam or go for an Interview.

Nationality

You must be a citizen to apply.

You can be someone who is considered a resident of Rajasthan according to the rules of the Rajasthan Government.

RPSC RAS 2026 selection process

The RPSC RAS Pre 2026 selection process has three stages:

  • Stage 1 – Preliminary Examination (Pre) Objective-type paper of 200 marks. Qualifying in nature. Top 15 times the vacancy count proceed to Mains.
  • Stage 2 – Main Examination (Mains) Descriptive written exam with 4 papers totalling 800 marks. Merit-based shortlisting for Interview.
  • Stage 3 – Interview / Personality Test Conducted by RPSC panel. Assesses communication, personality, general awareness, and administrative aptitude.
