Eligibility Criteria – SBI Apprentice 2026

To be eligible for SBI Apprentice 2026 you need to meet the eligibility criteria for SBI Apprentice 2026.

• Class 10 Certificate to prove your Date of Birth

SBI Apprentice 2026 NAPS Portal Registration Online

This is the step that most SBI Apprentice candidates miss and their SBI Apprentice application gets rejected. Before applying on the SBI website you must first register on the NAPS portal.

The NAPS portal is the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme. A Government of India portal for all apprenticeship registrations in India.

Step 1. Register on the NAPS Portal

You need to do this

• Visit the website apprenticeshipindia.gov.in

• Click on “Apprentice Login” then “Register“
• Enter your name, mobile number, email id and Aadhaar number
• Complete the registration. Save your NAPS User ID and Password because you will need them later for your SBI Apprentice application.

Step 2. Read the BFSI-SSC Guidelines

You have to do this.

• Visit the website bfsissc.com

• Read the guidelines on how to register on the NAPS portal for the SBI Apprentice
• This is mandatory as per the SBI Apprentice notification.

Step 3. Apply on the SBI Website

After completing the NAPS registration proceed to apply on the website sbi.co.in/careers or sbi.bank.in/web/careers/current-openings for the SBI Apprentice.

The NAPS registration is mandatory, for the SBI Apprentice.

Under the Apprenticeship Act 1961 all apprentices must be registered on the NAPS government portal.

The SBI cannot process your SBI Apprentice application without this.

• If you pass the exam you will then have to take a Local Language Test.
• You need to be good at reading, writing, speaking and understanding the language of the state you have chosen.
• If you studied the language in Class 10 or 12 you do not have to take this test but you need to show your marksheet as proof.

If you fail the Local Language Test you will be disqualified from the exam. The Local Language Test is a must for all candidates who qualify the exam so make sure you are prepared, for Local Language Test.

Exam Centers – State-wise List

The State Bank of India has the right to cancel or add exam centers. They can also give you a center, than the one you chose. If they do this you cannot ask them to change the center to the one you wanted. The State Bank of India will not listen to any requests to change the exam center.

Selection Process – SBI Apprentice 2026

The SBI Apprentice 2026 selection process is pretty straightforward.

Here is how it works.

• The first step is to register on the NAPS Portal, which’s mandatory before you can apply for the SBI Apprentice 2026.
• Then you will have to take a written examination, which is scheduled to take place in July 2026.
• The online written examination for SBI Apprentice 2026 will have 100 questions. You will get 100 marks for it. You will have 60 minutes to complete the examination.
