The notification was issued on 28 April 2026 under the Apprentices Act, 1961. Fresh graduate candidates — both male and female — who have not previously undergone any apprenticeship training can apply online from 29 April 2026 to 19 May 2026.

UBI Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Nationality

The Indian citizens are the ones who can apply. This also includes people from Nepal or Bhutan. Tibetan refugees who came to India and settled before 1 January 1962 are also eligible to apply. Indian origin people who moved from countries can apply too but they need a certificate, from the government.

Educational Qualification

  • You need a graduate degree in any field from a university or institution approved by the government, AICTE or UGC.
  • Your graduation result must have been announced on or before April 1 2026.

  • Make sure your graduation date is not earlier than April 1 2022.
  • This means your graduation should not be than 4 years before the cut-off date.
  • If you graduated in 2021 or earlier you are not eligible.

  • Stage 1 is a computer-based test.
