UKMSSB ANM Recruitment 2026: Uttarakhand Medical Service Selection Board (UKMSSB) has officially released a revised recruitment notification for 335 Health Worker (Female) / ANM posts under the Medical Health and Family Welfare Department, Uttarakhand. The revised advertisement (No. UKMSSB/PARI/11/2025-26/306) was published on 15 April 2026, updating the earlier notification for 180 posts released in November 2025.
This is a direct recruitment (Seedhi Bharti) for Group ‘C’ posts under Uttarakhand government. The most important thing to note: there is no written examination. Selection will be done purely on the basis of marks scored in the ANM Training Course. The total number of posts has now increased from 180 to 335, But bear in mind — the board has made it clear that only the final edited data will be valid.
This means that if you make any changes during the correction window between 06 and 09 May 2026, that revised data will be treated as your final application — not the previous version. Therefore, use the correction window with great care. Be sure to verify your total marks for the ANM Training Course, your district preference order, and the details of your caste certificate. If you change your category during the correction window, the fee you paid earlier will not be refunded under any circumstances.

1. Educational Qualification
- Candidates must have successfully completed the Basic Health Worker Female (ANM) Training Course as prescribed by the Indian Nursing Council (INC), New Delhi — which includes 6 months of midwifery training.
- Candidates must be duly registered with the Uttarakhand Nurses and Midwives Council (UKNMC), Dehradun.
- The registration must be valid up to the last date of online application (04 May 2026). Registrations issued after this date will not be accepted.

Selection Process — UKMSSB ANM Recruitment 2026
No Written Exam! Selection is purely based on ANM Training Course marks and document verification. This is a merit-based direct recruitment.
The board will prepare a district-wise merit list (batch-wise seniority) based on the aggregate marks scored by candidates in the ANM / Basic Health Worker Female Training Course across all semesters/years combined.
Tie-Breaking Rules (in case of equal marks):
- Candidate with Desirable Qualification will get priority.
- If still tied — older candidate gets preference.
- If age is also equal — candidate whose name comes first in English alphabetical order will be ranked higher.
Selection Stages:
- Merit List — District-wise, based on ANM training marks.
- Document Verification (Abhilekh Satpyan) — Tentatively scheduled for May–June 2026. Admit cards will be available on ukmssb.org.
- Medical Examination — Before final appointment.
Desirable Qualification
In cases of equal marks, preference will be given to candidates who have:
- Served in the Territorial Army for at least 2 years, OR
- Obtained the ‘B’ Certificate of National Cadet Corps (NCC).
