Eligibility Criteria – RSSB Teaching Associate 2026

Educational Qualification (As per Official Notification)

Essential:

  • A Master’s degree with minimum 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in the concerned/relevant/allied subject from an Indian University or an accredited foreign university.
  • NET / SLET / SET qualification (UGC or CSIR), OR a PhD degree as per UGC Regulations 2009 or 2016.

For PhD to qualify, these UGC conditions must all be met:

  • Admitted through a regular entrance exam
  • Evaluated by two external examiners
  • Open viva-voce conducted
  • At least two research papers published in peer-reviewed journals (minimum one in a refereed journal)
  • Two research papers presented at conferences

Exemption from NET/SLET/SET:

  • Candidates who registered for PhD before 11 July 2009 under the then-existing regulations are exempt.
  • Candidates in subjects where NET/SLET/SET is not conducted by UGC/CSIR are also exempt.

Additional mandatory requirements:

  • Knowledge of Hindi in Devanagari script
  • Knowledge of Rajasthan’s culture and traditions

Mark Relaxation:

  • SC / ST / MBC / BC (Non-Creamy Layer) / PwD candidates get 5% relaxation at both Bachelor’s and Master’s degree levels.

This is a college-level post — B.Ed and REET are NOT required.

OTR Blocking Rule (Important): If a candidate fails to appear in any two exams in one financial year (April–March) conducted by RSSB/RPSC/any Rajasthan recruitment agency, their OTR will be blocked. To unblock:

  • First block: Pay penalty of ₹750/-
  • Second block (same financial year): Pay penalty of ₹1,500/-

Salary / Monthly Remuneration – RSSB Contractual Teaching Associate Online Form 2026

As per the official notification, selected candidates will receive:

  • Fixed Monthly Remuneration: ₹28,850/- per month

This salary applies to all 32 subjects. The contract is initially for a maximum of 5 years, or until the Raj-CES society’s term ends — whichever is earlier. If the society’s term is extended, the contract may be extended once by up to 3 more years. However, no extension will be given once the candidate turns 60 years of age.

How to Apply – RSSB Contractual Teaching Associate Online Form 2026

Note: These are vacancies per subject. Each subject has further category-wise, like General, SC, ST, OBC, MBC and EWS and horizontal reservations.

To apply for the RSSB Contractual Teaching Associate you need to fill the form for 2026. Here is how you can do it:

Step 1 – Complete One Time Registration.

First log in to sso.rajasthan.gov.in then go to the OTR tab fill your category, disability status and home state and pay the OTR fee. If you have already paid the OTR fee before you can skip this step.

How to Apply – RSSB Contractual Teaching Associate Online Form 2026

You need to fill the OTR details carefully. You can edit the OTR once using the Edit/Delete button before applying. After that no changes are possible.

Step 2 – Login to SSO Portal.

Use your SSO ID. Password to log in at sso.rajasthan.gov.in.

Step 3 – Open Recruitment Portal.

From the dashboard go to Citizen Apps, then Recruitment Portal, select Advertisement No. 06/2026 – Teaching Associate Recruitment 2026. Click Apply Now.

Step 4 – Fill Application Form.

You need to fill in your educational NET/PhD and category details. The information already stored in OTR will auto-populate so verify before proceeding.

If any information entered by an EMitra operator is incorrect it is treated as your own mistake. Always review before submission.

Step 5 – Upload Documents.

  • You need to upload a photograph, which will be auto-fetched from OTR.
  • Your signature should be in black ink on white paper in JPEG format and the size should be between 20KB–50KB.
  • The dimensions should be 280×80 to 560×160 pixels and the box size should be 7cm × 2cm.
  • You also need to upload your thumb impression, which should have similar specifications as your signature.
  • You need to upload a handwriting sample as per the OTR instructions.

Step 6 – Select Subject Preference.

You need to select your subject post code carefully. If you select the subject you cannot correct it after the form closes except during the correction window and you will have to pay ₹300.

Step 7 – Pay the fee.

If you have not already paid the OTR fee you need to complete the fee payment through online, UPI, card, net banking or E-Mitra/CSC.

Step 8 – Review and Final Submit.

You need to check every detail before clicking Final Submit. Once you submit your Application ID will be generated. If you do not receive an Application ID your form is not. You should not think that it is submitted just because you have previewed it.

Step 9 – Print Application.

You need to download and save or print the application form and keep it for document verification and exam day.
