The selection process has stages.

Stage 1 – Document Verification

Stage 4 – Medical Examination

A complete health check is done at this stage. This check confirms if the candidate is medically fit to serve in a force.

The medical examination includes vision, hearing and overall physical fitness assessment of the candidate.

Stage 5 – Final Merit List

The Sashastra Seema Bal prepares a merit list based on the performance of the candidates across all stages.

The candidates who clear all the stages and rank within the vacancy limit are offered appointment as Constable in the Sashastra Seema Bal.
