If an applicant wishes to download their response sheet and answer key, they must complete the following steps:

• First, candidates must open the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in in any browser.
• Next, they should click on the Candidate Login link on the JEE Main 2026 official page.
• Here, applicants must enter their application number and their date of birth as the password.
• In the next step, candidates will see a link on the screen to view and download their response sheet/provisional answer key. They should save the PDF file for future reference. If they wish, candidates may lodge any objections within the allotted time.

How to challenge the JEE Main 2026 answer key

Candidates who believe there is an error in their results are permitted by the NTA to challenge the provisional answer key. To do this, they must follow the steps outlined below:

• First, candidates must log in again at jeemain.nta.nic.in.
• On the dashboard, you will see an option called ‘Challenge Answer’; click on it.
• A list of questions will already be provided; select the ones you wish to challenge.
• Then upload the supporting documents. In the next step, pay the required application fee online.
• The applicant must submit this process by 5 February 226.

Only answers submitted within the deadline set by the department will be considered.
