Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has officially declared the NVS Class 11 Admission Exam Result 2026 — also known as the JNV Lateral Entry Selection Test (LEST) 2026 result — on its official website navodaya.gov.in. Students who appeared for the JNVST Class 11 entrance examination held on February 7, 2026 can now check their result and download the scorecard using their Roll Number and Date of Birth. The region-wise and state-wise Provisional Selection List (Merit List PDF) is also available for download. Selected candidates must now prepare for the medical examination and 10-day orientation programme at their allotted JNV.

About NVS Class 11 Lateral Entry Selection Test

The NVS Class 11 Admission Exam is also known as the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Lateral Entry Selection Test. This exam is given by Navodaya Vidyalaya. Every year. The purpose of this exam is to fill the seats in Class 11 at all Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas in India.

If your name is in the merit list

1. Go to the JNV you have been allotted to on the date they tell you to, for document verification.

4. When the new academic session starts in July 2026 you have to confirm your admission and join Class 11.

If your name is not in the merit list

• NVS does not look at your answer sheet again. Check if your score is correct the result is final.
• But sometimes the students who were selected do not join or they are not allowed to join because of some problem, with their documents in that case NVS makes an third list of selected students.
• You should keep checking the website navodaya.gov.in to see if they have put out a waiting list.
• You can also try again year when NVS puts out the notice for the 2027-28 session this usually happens around August to October.
