I think that getting 280 marks in IPMAT Rohtak is not enough for people who’re in the General category. Normally you need to get least 363 marks to qualify if you are a General or EWS candidate.
The cutoff marks are lower for students who’re, in the Reserved category and this is because of the rules made by the Government of India.

OAA – Offer Acceptance Amount (₹1,00,000)
Let me tell you something that other people do not explain clearly. The Offer Acceptance Amount is an important step that a lot of students miss. They end up losing their seat. So you need to read this if you are selected.
- After they publish the Final Merit List, the students who are selected will get an Offer of Admission on the portal.
- To accept the offer and keep your seat you have to pay ₹1,00,000 (One Lakh Rupees) as the Offer Acceptance Amount via the admission portal.
- You can only pay this amount online through the admission.iimrohtak.ac.in portal. You cannot pay it by bank transfer or demand draft.
- The last date to pay the Offer Acceptance Amount will be written in your offer letter. It is usually 7 to 10 days after they send you the offer.
- If you do not pay the Offer Acceptance Amount by the date your offer will be cancelled and the seat will go to the next student, on the waitlist.
- The Offer Acceptance Amount is used to pay part of the programme fee. It is not an extra charge the Offer Acceptance Amount is part of the total programme fee so you will not have to pay it again.
IIM Rohtak BBA LLB (IPL) Admission 2026 — Different Route
IIM Rohtak also offers a BBA LLB programme, which’s an Integrated Programme in Law also known as IPL. The admission process for the BBA LLB programme is completely separate, from the IPMAT admission process. Most competitors do not cover the BBA LLB programme. The BBA LLB programme has its admission process.
