This means all the subjects that a student chooses are going to be counted when they calculate the percentage and division of Maharashtra SSC. The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education stopped giving out the list of students in the state after 2019. They did this to make things less stressful for students and to stop people from competing with each other in a way. For the year 2026 the board is going to give out the following information:

- How many students passed the exam in each of the 9 areas
- Which districts did the best and the worst
- How girls and boys did compared to each other
- How students did in types of schools like Semi-English and English medium schools.
